He just has a kind of magnetism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was that beguiling magnetism that investigators said helped make the object of her interest \u2014 Ted Bundy \u2014 one of the nation\u2019s most prolific serial killers, with at least 30 women and girls\u2019 deaths linked to him in a multiple-state spree that spanned the late 1970s.<\/p>\n<p>I reported the teenager\u2019s comments for The Associated Press\u2019 coverage of Bundy\u2019s 1979 murder trial in Miami, the first of two murder trials he would have in Florida.
