The waves buzzed across Africa, ringing sensors in Zambia, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UKEQ_Bulletin\/status\/1061616756890976257\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kenya<\/a>, and Ethiopia. They traversed vast oceans, humming across <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sebacarquake\/status\/1062034474228219904\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chile<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/matarikipax\/status\/1061590963779334144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Zealand<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/earthquakeguy\/status\/1062013690508062720\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada<\/a>, and even <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UKEQ_Bulletin\/status\/1062017007560855554\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hawaii<\/a> nearly 11,000 miles away.<\/p>\n<p>These waves didn&#8217;t just zip by; they rang for more than 20 minutes.
