She admitted that she bought him a rifle with a laser scope and gunpowder, which investigators said he was using to build grenades.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-bottom: 8px; margin: 0px\">Prosecutors said her son, Dillon, came to idolize the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/topics\/Columbine+High+School\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #015fb6; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px\" title=\"Columbine High School\">Columbine High School<\/a>\u00a0shooters, who killed 12 classmates and a teacher before committing suicide in 1999 in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/topics\/Colorado\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #015fb6; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px\" title=\"Colorado\">Colorado<\/a>, and was planning an attack last year on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/topics\/Plymouth-Whitemarsh+High+School\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #015fb6; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px\" title=\"Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School\">Plymouth Whitemarsh High School<\/a>, which some former schoolmates attended.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-bottom: 8px; margin: 0px\">Cossey, bullied over his weight, had left public school half way through middle school and was being home-schooled.
