Nie jestem wegetarianine<span class=\"text_exposed_hide\">&#8230;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>A cow has been living alone on an island, attacking anyone who comes near, after staging a miraculous escape on its way to a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/name-and-shame-for-abattoirs-1141145.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">slaughterhouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The animal\u00a0made its bid for safety last month after it refused to get into a\u00a0lorry taking it to be killed for meat. Instead it rammed a metal fence before making a dash for the nearby Lake Nysa, south <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/Poland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Poland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After the cow\u2019s owner, known only as Mr Lukasz,\u00a0attempted to get it back to the farm, the cow\u00a0broke one of his\u00a0worker\u2019s arms, according to Polish news show <a href=\"https:\/\/wiadomosci.wp.pl\/krowa-uciekla-przed-smiercia-w-rzezni-schronila-sie-na-wyspach-jeziora-nyskiego-6220543965361793a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><em>Wiadomosci<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It then entered the water and swam to one of the islands in the middle of the lake.
