Courtesy Sotheby&#8217;s London.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The holdings of pop superstar, art collector, and artist\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artnet.com\/artists\/david-bowie\/\" target=\"_blank\">David Bowie<\/a>\u00a0are\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sothebys.com\/en\/auctions\/2016\/bowie-collector-part-i-modern-contemporary-art-evening-auction-l16142.html#&amp;page=all&amp;filter=artists\/Basquiat%2C%20Jean-Michel&amp;sort=lotSortNum-asc&amp;viewMode=list\" target=\"_blank\">headed to auction<\/a>\u00a0November 10 at Sotheby\u2019s London, and the prize lot is a canvas by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artnet.com\/artists\/jean-michel-basquiat\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jean-Michel Basquiat<\/a>, titled\u00a0<em>Air Power\u00a0<\/em>(1984).
