David Bowie\u2019s Graphic Designer Says\u00a0Blackstar<\/em>\u00a0Records Hold More Secrets<\/h1>\n

In May, months after\u00a0David Bowie<\/a>\u00a0released his final album\u00a0\u2605<\/em>\u00a0(Blackstar<\/em><\/a>) and died unexpectedly, fans discovered a charming surprise:\u00a0If you expose\u00a0the record\u2019s gatefold sleeve\u00a0to light<\/a>, it reveals\u00a0an image of a galaxy.\u00a0In an interview with BBC Radio 6 today, the record\u2019s\u00a0graphic designer, Jonathan Barnbrook, says that\u2019s not all the records are hiding.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s actually a few other things as well,\u201d Barnbrook told host Mary Ann Hobbs. \u201cActually, there\u2019s one big thing which people haven\u2019t discovered yet on the album. Let\u2019s just say, if people find it, they find it, and if they don\u2019t, they don\u2019t. And remember what Bowie said about not explaining everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, that\u00a0doesn\u2019t bring us any closer to discovering the secret, but at least we know\u00a0to\u00a0look. Personally, my\u00a0guess is that\u00a0Bowie might\u2019ve\u00a0built in some kind of stargazing aid.
