{"id":7852,"date":"2016-10-12T13:51:23","date_gmt":"2016-10-12T20:51:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/BigJimIndustries.com\/wordpress\/?p=7852"},"modified":"2016-10-18T13:54:28","modified_gmt":"2016-10-18T20:54:28","slug":"american-fear","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bigjimindustries.com\/wordpress\/2016\/10\/12\/american-fear\/","title":{"rendered":"American Fear"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation-now\/2016\/10\/12\/survey-top-10-things-americans-fear-most\/91934874\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>from USAToday<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<h1>Survey reveals what Americans fear the most<\/h1>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gannett-cdn.com\/-mm-\/d44bf9ac740cfa2e4c015e985cf20e4ec8d6fdc9\/r=540\/http\/videos.usatoday.net\/Brightcove3\/29906170001\/2016\/10\/{day}\/3655\/29906170001_5166747855001_VPC-10-FEARS-00-00-00-22-Still001.jpg\" width=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As the presidential election campaign drags on, it may come as no surprise that corrupt government officials are one of the greatest fears many Americans have,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/wilkinson\/2016\/10\/11\/americas-top-fears-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\">according to a new study.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>People are scared of a lot of things, ranging from terror attacks to identity theft and deaths within the family, according to the third\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/wilkinson\/2016\/10\/11\/americas-top-fears-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\">annual Chapman University Survey of American Fears.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 2016 survey data showed a shift from 2015, where many of the top fears were economic and \u201cbig brother type issues,&#8221; Christopher Bader, a professor of sociology at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chapman University in Orange, Calif.<\/a>, said in a statement.
