‘Ray Donovan’ Actress Katherine Moennig Joins ‘Lane 1974’ (Exclusive)<\/h1>\n

The indie follows a 13-year-old living within the confines of her mother’s bizarrely rigid counter culture philosophies in Northern California.<\/p>\n

The L Word<\/em> and Ray Donovan <\/em>actress Katherine Moennig <\/strong>is joining newcomer Sophia Mitri Schloss<\/strong> in indie Lane 1974. <\/em><\/p>\n

The indie, directed by S.J.\u00a0Chiro,<\/strong> is based on Clane Hayward<\/strong>\u2019s memoir, The Hypocrisy of Disco.<\/em> It follows a 13-year-old (Schloss) who attempts to live within the confines of her mother’s (Moennig) bizarrely rigid counter culture philosophies in a commune in Northern California.<\/p>\n

Chiro, who grew up on two communes in the \u201870s, is making her directorial debut with the project.<\/p>\n

Schloss has guest starred in TNT’s The Librarians<\/em>, the NBC series Grimm<\/em>\u00a0and has a series regular role on Amazon Studio\u2019s upcoming show The Kicks.<\/em> She\u2019s repped by Koopman Management.<\/p>\n
