(Photo by Ernesto Ruscio\/Getty Images)\" width=\"480\" height=\"auto\" \/><em>Getty Images<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Oscar-nominated composer <a id=\"auto-tag_ennio-morricone\" href=\"http:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/ennio-morricone\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-tag=\"ennio-morricone\">Ennio Morricone<\/a> will be doing an original score for <a id=\"auto-tag_quentin-tarantino\" href=\"http:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/quentin-tarantino\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-tag=\"quentin-tarantino\">Quentin Tarantino<\/a>\u2019s new movie <em><a id=\"auto-tag_the-hateful-eight\" href=\"http:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-hateful-eight\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-tag=\"the-hateful-eight\">The Hateful Eight<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0Tarantino said today <a href=\"http:\/\/deadline.com\/2015\/07\/hateful-eight-comic-con-first-look-panel-quentin-tarantino-1201474348\/\" target=\"_blank\">during the film\u2019s panel at Comic-Con<\/a>. It will be the first Western score for the prolific Morricone in 40 years and reunites the two after some harsh words were apparently smoothed over after\u00a0their collaboration on <em>Django Unchained<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The five-time Oscar nominee was a classmate of Sergio Leone, the king of the spaghetti Westerns, and he scored a bunch of iconic films in the genre including <em>A Fistful Of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More<\/em> and of course <em>The Good The Bad And The Ugly<\/em>.\u00a0Morricone\u00a0has also penned for the likes of John Carpenter, Brian De Palma, Barry Levinson, Mike Nichols and Oliver Stone as well as Giuseppe Tornatore, for whom he did the score for <em>Cinema Paradiso<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>[ <a href=\"http:\/\/deadline.com\/2015\/07\/ennio-morricone-hateful-8-score-quentin-tarantino-1201474388\/\" target=\"_blank\">click to read full piece at Deadline Hollywood<\/a> ]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>from Deadline Hollywood Ennio Morricone To Score \u2018Hateful Eight\u2019, Quentin Tarantino Reveals \u2013 Comic\u00a0Con by Ross A.
