KISS<\/strong>\u00a0mainman\u00a0Gene Simmons<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has been blaming the\u00a0death of the record industry<\/a>\u00a0on bands like\u00a0Radiohead<\/strong>,\u00a0Nine Inch Nails<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and others who have experimented with alternative methods of releasing music.<\/p>\n

Oh, and the fans, too.<\/p>\n

“The record industry is dead. It’s six feet underground and unfortunately the fans have done this. They’ve decided to download and file share,” said Simmons, according to an AOL Australia report.<\/p>\n

“There is no record industry around so we’re going to wait until everybody settles down and becomes civilised. As soon as the record industry pops its head up we’ll record new material.”<\/p>\n

Are you happy now, ungrateful fans of music?<\/p>\n

Anyway, the death of the music industry has at least gotta be good for the\u00a0Kiss Kasket<\/a>, the $4,700 coffin the band used to sell on its website. It could be used as a beer cooler until the lucky fan died and was placed inside.<\/p>\n
