The\u00a0Nigerian novelist\u00a0Chinua Achebe<\/strong>\u00a0has passed away<\/a>. He was 82 years old.<\/p>\n

Achebe wrote\u00a0Things Fall Apart<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in 1958, his first novel and also his most well-known book. He also wrote\u00a0Anthills of the Savannah<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0Arrow of God<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0and many other books. As a poet, he also released his\u00a0Collected Poems<\/a><\/em>. Exiled by civil war and politics, he spent many years teaching in the United States.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
