A kitty stuck in the bumper area, Palm Springs police Sgt. Mike Kovaleff said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The unidentified owner of the Dodge minivan was parked at his home in Banning when he saw the damage to his vehicle Monday morning,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kesq.com\/cbs\/Kitten-goes-for-25-mile-ride-to-Palm-Springs-in-car-fender\/-\/10886692\/16224054\/-\/h37fmj\/-\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">according to CBS affiliate KESQ in Palm Springs.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The kitty, described as a short-haired tabby about seven weeks old, was even given a name \u201cFender Lynx\u201d \u2014 after the fender she was found in and because her ears resemble those of a lynx.<\/p>\n<p>No more car fenders for this plucky pussy cat.
