THE TWO MOST FAMOUS PEOPLE\u00a0ever born in M\u00e1laga, Spain, are\u00a0Pablo Picasso<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Antonio Banderas<\/a>. They\u2019ll soon come together when the actor portrays the artist in filmmaker\u00a0Carlos Saura<\/a>\u2019s biopic\u00a033 dias<\/em>. But on Monday, M\u00e1laga celebrated a different union, this one between Picasso and\u00a0Richard Prince<\/a>. The Prince\/Picasso exhibition, which is being held at the Museo Picasso M\u00e1laga, was organized in collaboration with the artist\u2019s grandson,\u00a0Bernard Ruiz-Picasso<\/a>, and his wife, dealer\u00a0Almine Rech<\/a>, and the support of their foundation, FABA.<\/p>\n

Prince arrived Saturday from New York on a private jet in the company of his friends writer\u00a0James Frey<\/a>\u00a0and dealer\u00a0Bill Powers<\/a>, a copy of\u00a0James Ellroy<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0The Black Dahlia<\/em>\u00a0in hand. He immediately went to check out the installation, done by his studio coordinator,\u00a0Eric Brown<\/a>, and the director of the museum,\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Lebrero Stals<\/a>. He was delighted, and changed nothing at all. He told me: \u201cThis is a real show!\u201d<\/p>\n
