Shortly before halting his love affair with the corporate world in fear of compromising his flirtations with the art world, he illustrated six stories for the excellent\u00a0<em>Best In Children&#8217;s Books<\/em>. (Cue in my recent review of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.brainpickings.org\/index.php\/2011\/07\/25\/childrens-books-by-adult-authors-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #00598c; text-decoration: none\">little<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.brainpickings.org\/index.php\/2011\/07\/19\/7-childrens-books-by-adult-literature-authors\/\" style=\"color: #00598c; text-decoration: none\">known<\/a>\u00a0children&#8217;s books by famous &#8220;adult&#8221; authors.)
