These days, workers for nonprofit groups help people move into apartments, keeping track as the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/03\/20\/nyregion\/20homeless.html\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #000066; text-decoration: none\" title=\"Times article on the rise citywide.\">number of the chronically homeless in Times Square goes down<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to their records, by 2005, there were only 55. Last summer, it was down to 7.<\/p>\n<p>Now there is one.<\/p>\n<p>His name is Heavy, and he has lived on the streets of Times Square for decades.
