Caught! James Franco Makes Elevator Friend<\/h2>\n

James Franco<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0hitting up the\u00a0Damien Hirst\u00a0<\/strong>opening at the Gagosian Gallery in NYC recently.<\/p>\n

Franco kept up his Sundance-sexy, as we’re told he looked “hot all bundled up.”<\/p>\n

He also ran into a certain someone in the elevator who intrigued him…<\/p>\n

Another James.\u00a0Duh<\/em>.<\/p>\n

James Frey<\/strong>, the disgraced writer who is best known as getting “ripped a new one” by\u00a0Oprah<\/strong>, chatted with the other James on the way up.<\/p>\n

Says a fellow elevator spy:<\/p>\n

“Frey was all like, ‘Hey, James!<\/em>‘ and James Franco was all like,\u00a0‘Hey, James!’<\/em>\u00a0And they chatted and it was all friendly.”<\/p>\n

Somehow we feel like Franco, who just played distinguished author\u00a0Allen Ginsberg<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Howl<\/em>, should snub Mr. Frey, but whatevs.<\/p>\n

As for who else was at the “sausage party” (as our source calls it) of an opening:<\/p>\n

Mick Jagger<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Bono<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Gossip Girl’<\/em>s\u00a0Matthew Settle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
