One of them, Claudia Djanbbari, was molding self-hardening clay into a coffee-table-size version of a South Korean artist\u2019s version of a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/topics.nytimes.com\/top\/reference\/timestopics\/people\/k\/jeff_koons\/index.html?inline=nyt-per\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #000066\" title=\"More articles about Jeff Koons.\">Jeff Koons<\/a>\u2019s \u201cBalloon Dog\u201d sculpture. \u201cI\u2019m making a copy of a copy,\u201d Ms. Djanbbari said.<\/p>\n<p>The buyer, Mimi Brown, a collector who is based in Hong Kong, happily paid $243 for the miniature third-generation knockoff. The second generation, a commentary on the Koons work by the Korean artist Gimhongsok, was fashioned out of trash bags and cast in resin. It is prominently displayed at the Kukje Gallery stand, priced at $50,000.
