My parents were …\u00a0<\/strong>My\u00a0mother<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/a>\u00a0was incredibly creative and absolutely mental. She nurtured me to do what I wanted to do when I wanted to do it.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

The house I grew up in …\u00a0<\/strong>There were loads, we moved around all the time. Our houses were always well designed with amazing antiques, white floorboards, big\u00a0drapes<\/span><\/font><\/a>\u00a0and 1920s erotic paintings.<\/p>\n

When I was a\u00a0child<\/span><\/font><\/a>\u00a0I wanted to be …\u00a0<\/strong>a lawyer. That didn’t quite work out. I left school just after my GCSEs, but I got good results so I proved to myself that I could do it.<\/p>\n

The first time I got drunk …\u00a0<\/strong>I had just turned 14, and was at a birthday party of a girl in the year above me. Her dad had put on a free bar and I spent most of the night kissing my best friend. It was ridiculous.<\/p>\n

If I could change one thing about myself …<\/strong>I would make the tube that runs from my kidney to my bladder a normal shape, so that I didn’t have to have an operation soon.<\/p>\n

You wouldn’t know it but I’m very good at …\u00a0<\/strong>cleaning<\/span><\/font><\/a>. It’s my de-stress if I’m in a bad mood.<\/p>\n

You may not know it but I’m no good at …<\/strong>being patient.<\/p>\n

Last night I dreamt …\u00a0<\/strong>my best friend was given a new suit and I had an infestation of spiders living in my body. It was really scary.<\/p>\n

What I see when I look in the mirror …\u00a0<\/strong>Lots and lots of freckles.<\/p>\n

My favourite item of clothing is …<\/strong>\u00a0a pair of black Chanel boots, which I bought on eBay a few years ago and haven’t taken off since.<\/p>\n

I wish I’d never worn …\u00a0<\/strong>orange corduroy flares, which I wore as a child.<\/p>\n

It’s not fashionable but I like …\u00a0<\/strong>sports bras \u2013 they’re just so comfortable.<\/p>\n

I drive\/ride …<\/strong>\u00a0I have a Nissan Figaro, which I love \u2013 but I can’t drive yet. So I walk everywhere with my dog Monty. He’s a\u00a0Maltese<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/a>\u00a0and he’s awesome.<\/p>\n

My home is …<\/strong>\u00a0a big loft in New York with lots of 1970s furniture, which I share with my boyfriend Will. A lot of my friends have painted murals on the wall. It smells of my cooking and is usually rammed with people.<\/p>\n

My favourite building …<\/strong>\u00a0is Gaudi’s Batllo House in Barcelona. It’s a piece of art.<\/p>\n

My favourite work of art is …\u00a0<\/strong>‘Gaia’ by Alex Grey. You can just get lost in it.<\/p>\n

A book that changed me …\u00a0<\/strong>There were two: ‘Prozac Nation’ by Elizabeth Wurtzel and ‘A Million Little Pieces’ by James Frey. My mum made me read them in order to help me understand addiction.<\/p>\n
