Art World Celebrates The Launch Of Jeff Koons\u2019 Latest Pieces<\/a><\/h2>\n

The literary crowd, including the infamous\u00a0James Frey<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Glenn O\u2019Brien<\/strong>, flocked to the\u00a0\u00a0Strand Book\u00a0 Store<\/a>\u00a0last night to celebrate pop artist Jeff Koons\u2019 newest projects – books.\u00a0Versailles<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and the aptly titled\u00a0Celebration<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0document Koons\u2019 popular overseas exhibitions, which include his October 2008 exhibition at Berlin\u2019s\u00a0Neue Nationalgalerie<\/a>. Koon\u2019s past and present pieces of artwork cover a wide range of topics such as celebrity, race and gender, commerce, media, sex, and fame.<\/p>\n
