London cab driver linked to more than 200 passenger rapes<\/h1>\n

Officially, cops have linked\u00a0John Worboys<\/a>\u00a0to 85 assaults between 2002 and 2008, but investigators say he’s responsible for at least twice as many.<\/p>\n

“He is probably the most prolific sex offender caught in the\u00a0U.K.<\/a>\u00a0to date,” a police source told the London Sun. “It’s safe to say he has claimed at least 200 victims.”<\/p>\n

A former stripper and porn actor, Worboys stalked clubs, offering party girls champagne to celebrate a bogus lottery win. The bubbly was spiked and would knock them unconscious.<\/p>\n

<\/span>After the 51-year-old was arrested in 2007, he was released on bail and attacked three dozen more women, the paper reported. He was convicted last week on 19 charges.<\/span><\/p>\n
