Florence\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Galileo Museum<\/strong>\u00a0has reunited\u00a0<strong>Leonardo da Vinci<\/strong>\u2018s<em>\u00a0Codex Atlanticus<\/em>\u00a0with more than 500 pages that were later cut from it, restoring for the first time the full sweep of the master\u2019s largest surviving notebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the museum launched&nbsp;<strong>Leonardotheka 2.0,&nbsp;<\/strong>adding the 550-odd pages Italian sculptor&nbsp;<strong>Pompeo Leoni<\/strong>&nbsp;excised from the&nbsp;<em>Codex Atlanticus<\/em>in the late 16th century\u2014now owned by the&nbsp;<strong>U.K.\u2019s Royal Collection Trust<\/strong>\u2014to the 1,119-page tome held by Milan\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leonardo\u2019s\u00a0<em>Codex Atlanticus<\/em>\u00a0is the largest of over a dozen codices containing the thousands of pages of notes he made.
