Journalists at\u00a0Reuters<\/a>\u00a0claim to have unmasked\u00a0Banksy<\/a>, the anonymous graffiti artist who has long ruled the U.K.\u00a0art<\/a>\u00a0scene with politically provocative murals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an investigation published Friday<\/a> titled In Search of Banksy<\/em>, reporters Simon Gardner, James Pearson and Blake Morrison detail a complex and extensive hunt for Banksy\u2019s real name, pulling information from a trip to Ukraine, where he was photographed and met with locals; a fallout with Jamaican photographer Peter Dean Rickards, who is said to have posted photos of Banksy\u2019s face; and a 2000 New York arrest, where they discovered a signed, handwritten confession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
