A new study argues that necrosis \u2014 the uncontrolled \u201cbursting\u201d of damaged cells \u2014 may be a major upstream driver of everything from cancer and heart attacks to kidney disease and even aging itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your body constantly kills off old, damaged, or infected cells in a highly controlled process called apoptosis.
