Billed as \u201cAmerica\u2019s Most Notorious Author\u201d by Time <\/em>magazine, the \u201cBad Boy of American Letters\u201d by The New York Times,<\/em> and \u201cAmerica\u2019s Most Important Writer\u201d by Esquire<\/em>, Frey has written multiple global bestsellers, including A Million Little Pieces<\/em>, Bright Shiny Morning<\/em>, and The Final Testament of the Holy Bible<\/em>. He has sold more than 30 million books and is published in 42 languages.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frey penned the screenplays for 1998\u2019s Kissing A Fool <\/em>and Sugar: The Fall of the West<\/em>, which he also directed. His other film or television work includes 2019\u2019s I Am Number Four<\/em> (based on his YA sci-fi novel written under the pen name Pitticus Lore) for DreamWorks. He executive produced CBS\u2019 American Gothic<\/em>drama series and co-wrote 2019\u2019s crime drama Queen and Slim,<\/em> on which he also served as a producer. He\u2019s currently adapting his forthcoming novel, Next To Heaven<\/em>, into a television series for Department M.
