Bret Easton Ellis to Make Directorial Debut With L.A.-Set Horror Movie \u2018Relapse,\u2019 Starring Joseph Quinn (EXCLUSIVE)<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLess Than Zero\u201d writer\u00a0Bret Easton Ellis\u00a0<\/a>is set to make his directorial debut with \u201cRelapse,\u201d an elevated horror film he wrote starring \u201cStranger Things\u201d breakout\u00a0Joseph Quinn<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paris-based SND has boarded the project as producer, alongside Adrian Guerra\u2019s Nostromo (\u201cPenny Dreadful\u201d) and Simon Wallon\u2019s Kiss & Kill (\u201cBonnie\u201d). SND will handle worldwide sales on \u201cRelapse,\u201d as well as French distribution, and will tease the title at the EFM with a sizzle reel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quinn, who will next be seen in \u201cFantastic Four,\u201d \u201cA Quiet Place: Day One\u201d and the \u201cGladiator\u201d sequel, stars in \u201dRelapse\u201d as Matt Cullen, who checks into rehab after witnessing a horrific death during a debauched party. Three months later, he is set to get his life back together, staying at his parent\u2019s mansion in the hills of Los Angeles. But things have changed around Matt and everything seems off balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
