Movies are getting longer, testing even the strongest of bladders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mar Luque, 22, said she only made it through Taylor Swift\u2019s nearly three-hour-long\u00a0concert movie<\/a>\u00a0by sipping her soda slowly. \u201cI rushed to the bathroom right after,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luque, a student in C\u00f3rdoba, Spain, said it was worth it. \u201cI\u2019m not missing anything,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hollywood has released a string of unusually long movies in recent months. \u201cOppenheimer,\u201d about the birth of the atomic bomb,\u00a0ran for exactly three hours<\/a>, not counting the previews. Then came Martin Scorsese\u2019s latest film, the three-hour-and-26-minute \u201cKillers of the Flower Moon.\u201d The extended runtimes have sparked calls from some moviegoers to bring back intermissions, which disappeared decades ago in the U.S. and U.K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of those moviegoers is Gordon Matlock, who said he took two breaks while watching \u201cKillers of the Flower Moon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
