I know for a lot of regular readers the site is already launched, but things are going to be different around here once Obama is sworn in as president. For example, after Obama is sworn in there will be design on every page, not just the front page. When you click through to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/therumpus.net\/sections\/rick-moody-blogs\/\" style=\"color: #0066cc; text-decoration: none\" target=\"_blank\">Rick Moody\u2019s blog<\/a>, for example, you\u2019ll see other recent blog posts on the right. The site\u2019s going to be more colorful and easier to navigate. Rumpy, The Rumpus mascot, will be wearing nicer clothes.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3304\/3203315901_ca27c6505b.jpg?v=0\" style=\"color: #0066cc; text-decoration: none\" onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outbound\/article\/farm4.static.flickr.com');\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3304\/3203315901_ca27c6505b.jpg?v=0\" style=\"max-width: 100%; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: none; padding: 0px\" height=\"162\" width=\"500\" class=\"alignnone\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.05em\">We\u2019re also going to have a neat new easily accesible feature called \u201cThe River.\u201d That\u2019s basically for hard-core Rumpus readers, people who are seriously over-educated and under-employed, checking this site three or four times a day, who want to read The Rumpus in a continual stream of updated content right down the center of the page. The choice will be yours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.05em\">In addition to tons of new content (like Josh Mohr\u2019s review of America America or Scott Hutchins interview with Steven Soderbergh, both coming this week) we\u2019re going to republish a lot of our original content from this beta period. So don\u2019t freak out when you see our interview with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/therumpus.net\/2008\/12\/rumpus-original-an-interview-with-james-frey\/\" style=\"color: #0066cc; text-decoration: none\" target=\"_blank\">James Frey<\/a>\u00a0or Malcolm Gladwell in the feature box; this is not a rerun, it\u2019s a starting over.
