Some experts think it\u2019s only a matter of time before the new model of gaming takes root\u00a0in the U.S., but it\u2019s clear game\u00a0developers will have to make some adjustments before the games will appeal to a U.S. audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Web3 has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/recode\/22907072\/web3-crypto-nft-bitcoin-metaverse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">been called<\/a>\u00a0the future of the internet, crypto and NFTs have been besieged lately.\u00a0Over a period of nine months last year, the monthly trading volume of NFTs\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/observer.com\/2022\/09\/nft-trading-volume-plunges-97-since-january-raising-questions-about-their-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">decreased by 97 percent<\/a>.\u00a0In May, cryptocurrencies Terra and Luna\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/observer.com\/2022\/05\/the-crazy-crypto-meltdown-of-terra-and-luna-explained\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">collapsed<\/a>\u00a0and took\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/corporatefinanceinstitute.com\/resources\/cryptocurrency\/what-happened-to-terra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">half-a-trillion dollars<\/a>\u00a0of crypto market cap with them.
