A while ago,\u00a0in an attempt to get<\/a>\u00a0Ryan Adams as my intern instead of him interning at\u00a0Blackbook<\/em>\u00a0(nice catch, Mohney!), I received a one-line e-mail from somebody calling himself\u00a0James Frey<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ll come intern for a day,\u201d it read. He thought it would be interesting to intern for people who \u201chated\u201d him (a strong word!) and was especially eager to do menial tasks. So\u00a0Vogue<\/em>\u00a0gets celebrity intern Sean Avery,\u00a0Blackbook<\/em>\u00a0gets Adams, and we get James Frey. He has written books such as\u00a0A Million Little Pieces<\/em>,\u00a0Bright Shiny Morning<\/em>, and once he went on Oprah and she yelled at him! He\u2019ll be helping me pack my things into boxes for my imminent departure, factchecking among other things. He\u2019s out on a coffee run right now, but after the jump, let\u2019s play \u201cAsk the Intern<\/strong>,\u201d in which you can ask James about what it\u2019s like to intern for Gawker.<\/span><\/p>\n
