Elon Musk was Joe Average compared to McAfee. The creator of the first commercial anti-virus software was one of a kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did he have his neighbour in Belize killed for poisoning his dogs? A court\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2019\/03\/20\/mcafee_25m_lawsuit_neighbor_death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ordered<\/a>\u00a0him to pay $25m over Gregory Faull\u2019s apparent wrongful death. How many drugs was he on? He seems to have\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2016\/09\/the-obscure-legal-drug-that-fuels-john-mcafee.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">turned himself<\/a>\u00a0into a walking, talking laboratory. Was there any substance to his\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/officialmcafee\/status\/1010682321106821125?s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">many tweets<\/a>\u00a0about having sex with whales? (\u201cWhale fucking. No joke. Each year, on Feb 1<sup>st<\/sup>, in the Molokai Channel, a few men compete in the world\u2019s only whale fucking contest\u2026I competed once. Almost got my ribs crushed.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given all this madness, it seems anticlimactic that McAfee was set to be extradited to the US on charges of tax evasion. Then again, that&nbsp;<em>was<\/em>&nbsp;the charge that brought down Al Capone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officially, McAfee is reported to have committed suicide. Understandably, rumours are flying.
