The resulting images are the subject of&nbsp;<em>Pools: Lounging, Diving, Floating, Dreaming: Picturing Life at the Swimming Pool<\/em>&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rizzoliusa.com\/book\/9780847865864\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$65, Rizzoli<\/a>), edited by writer Lou Stoppard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve wanted to do this book for years, so I\u2019ve been collecting great pool photographs for a very long time,\u201d Stoppard tells\u00a0<em>AD<\/em>. \u201cPart of this was to show the way that the swimming pool has remained a seductive place for photographers as years have passed. It sounds negative to call it a trope, but in a way, it is.
