Among older members of Generation X, it\u2019s hard to hear the word \u201czoom\u201d without associating it with \u201cZoom,\u201d one of the most memorable and radically experimental television programs of its era. Like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/magazine\/2020\/04\/27\/embracing-the-chaotic-side-of-zoom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the teleconferencing service<\/a>, the original \u201cZoom\u201d was screen-based and interactive, and it quickly evolved into a national obsession.
