French techno DJ Didier Sinclair dies at 43<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

PARIS \u2014 Didier Sinclair, a pioneering figure on France\u2019s techno music scene, has died at the age of 43, his agent announced.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Sinclair \u2014 a DJ, musician and producer who was artistic director of FG Dj Radio \u2014 died on Thursday after an unspecified illness.<\/span><\/p>\n

He started out on France\u2019s youth-oriented NRJ radio in 1982, and went on to score his first recording success with the album “Groove2me” in 1999.<\/span><\/p>\n

The following year, his “Lovely Flight” became an international hit, and Sinclair became a regular behind the turntables in big techno clubs.<\/span><\/p>\n

In April, Sinclair brought out a new album titled “Do You Speak?”, but his website announced he had suspended all appearances for health reasons and that he hoped to be back in spring of 2009.<\/span><\/p>\n
