Now, after a remodel that began in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/2018\/11\/16\/18098536\/pacifica-taco-bell-location-adds-liquor-alcohol-remodel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">November<\/a>, the chain restaurant is back, and it\u2019s got some exciting new features.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The big news is that it\u2019s now a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/venue\/taco-bell-cantina\">Taco Bell Cantina<\/a>, one of the chain\u2019s restaurants that has been upgraded with alcoholic beverages. That means beer on draft and in bottles (local, imported, and domestic), boozy Twisted Freezes (margaritas and other cocktails), and wine will be available for consumption overlooking the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sf.curbed.com\/2019\/7\/10\/20689137\/pacifica-taco-bell-remodel-cantina-alcohol\">According<\/a>\u00a0to Curbed SF, the building was originally built in the late 60\u2019s as an A&amp;W hamburger franchise, though it\u2019s been a Taco Bell since the \u201880s. Now it features a mural by SF street artist\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.konorebi.com\/murals.html\">Norah Bruhn<\/a>, a glass-enclosed, indoor\/outdoor fireplace, and a walk-up window so sandy diners can order from the outside.
